Rough winter we’re having but progress continues.
Construction of building structures continues to progress
despite less-than-optimal weather conditions over the past month. Construction of all foundation walls, waterproofing,
under-slab plumbing, and concrete slabs-on-grade are now complete. Framing
activities continue to progress and are estimated to be 85%complete. Framing is
complete at the Community Building and buildings 200, 500, and 600.
Terrace-level walls and floor systems for the main-level floor are now in place
at buildings 300 and 400. Wall crews were in the process of framing the main level
walls. Wood stairs, breezeway landing, and balcony framing is now complete at buildings
200, 500, and 600. Dry-in activities have also progressed as roofing, house
wrap, and windows are installed at the Community Building and buildings 200,
500, and 600. Shingles for the remainder of the project are stored on-site.
Windows are also on-site for the remaining two buildings.
HVAC rough-in was estimated to be 75% complete at Building
200, 95% complete at Building 500, and 10% complete at Building 600. Installation
of drywall for attic draftstopping was found to be complete at buildings 200 and
500 along with “pre-rock” installation within the HVAC closets.
